This year NMES will be focusing on virtual family engagement focusing on the Word of the Week. Each Monday we will send a link to all families with our "Word of the Week". We will give the definition and use the word in a sentence. Your child will hear this word daily on our daily announcements. Please work with your child on the "Word of the Week" and integrate the word into your daily conversations. As research, academic vocabulary is important to increasing academic, cognitive, and social development - it is the essential bridge between spoken language, reading, and writing. We appreciate your support in working with our "Word of the Week" with your child.
