Local School Improvement Council (LSIC)
LSICs are designed to represent the voice of our community's stakeholders. New Manchester Elementary School's Council is comprised of the principal, teachers, service personnel, parents, community members, and business representatives. The LSIC is directly involved with the operation of New Manchester Elementary School.
LSICs serve an integral role in school governance through shared decision making. The LSIC is responsible for addressing complex issues and fostering changes that may alter the curriculum, instruction, or administration of the school.
The council shall examine the needs of New Manchester Elementary School and provide unique perspectives and assistance to our school in reaching the goals of our Strategic Plan.
Meetings are held at least four times per year (once each grading period).
All meetings are open to the public.
